INITIATIVE HIGHLIGHT
Embedding respect and inclusion
As part of our commitment to respectful relationships with Indigenous
communities , we proudly posted a Land Acknowledgement in both
English and Ojibwe at our Thunder Bay , Ontario workplace . The
acknowledgement recognizes that we work and live on the traditional
lands of Fort William First Nation and honours the Nation ’ s enduring
connection to this land .
This initiative serves as a visible expression of respect for Indigenous
Peoples and their history , while reaf f irming our commitment to
inclusion and understanding . By incorporating both languages , the
acknowledgement ref lects our desire to foster awareness , build
meaningful relationships , and ensure that everyone – employees ,
partners , and visitors alike – feels welcome and respected in
our workspace .
