Québec ’ s commitment to
sustainable practices in 2025
In 2025 , the Québec Sustainable Development Committee made
signif icant ef forts to strengthen waste management at Englobe ’ s
Québec City facilities , building on previous achievements and
lessons learned . The team worked collaboratively to renew its
participation in the ICI on recycle + program and successfully
achieved the Performance level . This accomplishment ref lects
a strong collective commitment to the core principles of “ reduce ,
reuse , recycle , recover , and eliminate , ” and was made possible
through the active engagement of employees and the site
management team .
Throughout the year , several measures were implemented
including the deployment of new sorting stations , the introduction
of organic waste collection , the removal of individual bins , and
the adoption of 100 % recycled paper . The Committee also set
ambitious objectives for the coming years such as promoting
source reduction , creating a reuse space for materials and
equipment , and integrating 3R principles into procurement
practices . These ef forts are a testament to Englobe Québec ’ s
ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and
environmental responsibility .

TEAM HIGHLIGHT
Englobe professionals inspire
future engineers
As part of a partnership with
Englobe ,
Hy2Gen , and the
CÉGEP de
Baie - Comeau , eleven civil engineering students from this college
toured the site of Hy2Gen ’ s future green hydrogen plant .
The students gained valuable insights by observing seasoned
geotechnical and geo - environmental engineering professionals at
work and engaging these experts in technical discussions . The visit
showcased cutting - edge technologies , rigorous safety protocols ,
and the engineering expertise behind this project – key elements in
securing a strong energy and economic future for Québec .
