2025 greenhouse gas emissions at Englobe

At Englobe , we understand our shared responsibility to address climate change and the

associated   importance of measuring our impact with accuracy and transparency . As part of

our   ESG commitments , we began tracking our annual greenhouse gas ( GHG ) emissions in 2022 ,

focusing on the operational areas that contribute most signif icantly to our footprint : our real

estate   portfolio and our vehicle f leet .

Since then , we have consistently reported our Scope 1 and 2 emissions and continued to build the systems

needed to eventually incorporate Scope 3 , which will provide a more complete view of our climate impact .

Our 2025 inventory represents the fourth year of this work and ref lects our ongoing ef forts to strengthen data

quality and reliability . We have improved the precision of our energy use data for of f ices and laboratories .

We have also deployed telematics across nearly our entire vehicle f leet , with full coverage expected in

2026 . These improvements enhance reporting accuracy and support the development of more targeted ,

science - aligned climate actions across the organization .

GHG trends and data comparability

In 2025 , Englobe ’ s total greenhouse gas ( GHG ) emissions increased compared to the 2024 base year . This

increase is primarily attributable to a signif icant improvement in data accuracy and coverage following the

near - complete integration of telematics across the vehicle f leet during the year . The expanded availability

of primary activity data resulted in more comprehensive and precise emissions accounting , rather than an

underlying increase in operational activity .

In accordance with Englobe ’ s inventory management plan and the requirements of the GHG Protocol —

Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard , methodological and structural changes of this magnitude

exceed the established materiality threshold and require an adjustment of the 2024 base year to maintain

consistency and comparability over time .

At the time of publication , the recalculation of the 2024 base year is in progress , in line with Englobe ’ s

standard assurance practices . The restated base year emissions and corresponding comparative f igures

will   be disclosed in a subsequent reporting cycle once the process is complete .

In 2025 , Englobe emitted a total of 4 , 840 . 20 tonnes of CO

2

equivalent from its vehicle f leet and

of f ice spaces ( of f ices , laboratories , and storage areas ) . Please see Appendix A for detailed reporting .
