At its heart, an ESG mindset is one that is built collectively, with input by
everyone. That’s why we’ve made it a priority to share our progress with
our Englobe teams, through quarterly newsletters and other channels,
such as this report. Regular internal communication keeps our team
members engaged and informed, and ensures that our sustainability
goals are shared, not siloed.
This report is both a snapshot of where we stand today and a promise of
what’s ahead. We’ll continue to share our progress openly, to learn along
the way, and to push ourselves further. Because for Englobe, contributing
to a more sustainable future and building stronger communities is not
optional; it’s our responsibility and always will be.

Pride, progress, and a focus on the future
Since the launch of Englobe’s f irst Sustainability Plan in late 2023, our
momentum has continued to build. As the company’s f irst ESG Director,
I am honoured to take part in this formal and signif icant step in our
company’s sustainability journey. The creation of this role sends a clear
message: Sustainability is not only a strategic priority, but a core value
that guides how Englobe operates, grows and contributes to society. In
support of this vision, our recently created ESG Steering Committee has
become a vital forum for shared leadership, discussion, and alignment
across the organization.
Here are only a few of the key initiatives in 2024:

We completed our third greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory,
our most robust to date. The inventory’s strengthened methodology
positions Englobe for consistent, reliable tracking of our environmental
footprint. We are currently engaged in key strategic discussions
to def ine our next GHG emissions reduction goals and shape our
climate ambition.

ESG is increasingly becoming a core part of our culture, seamlessly
integrated into various stages of the employee lifecycle. From
the moment new employees join us, they are introduced to our
commitment to sustainability, ethics, and responsibility. This ensures
that ESG values are embedded in everything they do from the start
of their time at Englobe.

We strengthened our commitment to supporting Indigenous
communities, a mainstay of our business philosophy for over 30 years.
Through respectful dialogue, thoughtful skill-sharing programs,
internal awareness initiatives, and other actions, we continue to foster
closer ties with Indigenous partners, communities, and clients across
the country.
