Here’s a snapshot of some community-focused initiatives led by our team
members in 2024.
—North Ontario Construction Association, Women in
Construction Committee: Through this committee, we support the
quarterly “She Build Spotlight” and take part in selecting the Woman in
Construction bursary recipient.
—Soap Box Science Montréal: Englobe took part in this public
outreach program which promotes women and non-binary scientists
and their work.
—Local Women in Engineering Luncheon: Our Moncton of f ice is in
the process of planning occasional luncheons to build camaraderie
and provide support and professional development.
—Paddling for a great cause in Atlantic Canada: The Moncton team
took part in the Greater Moncton Dragon Boat Festival, raising over
$4,700 to benef it two local non-prof its, the Lions Sick Children’s Fund
and the Moncton Room at Ronald McDonald House – Atlantic.
—Supporting the future of transportation in Canada: Englobe
has supported TAC scholarships and student outreach activities for
over 35 years. In 2024, we continued to inspire students to explore
transportation careers by contributing funding for the AASHTO STEM
Outreach Solutions Session in Ottawa.
—Outstanding community support in Ontario: Teams in Sudbury
and Thunder Bay raised $5,000 for the Eabametoong (Fort Hope)
First Nation School Loss fund. In southern Ontario, our teams raised
and donated a total of $9,000 to local organizations.
—Community Leadership in Québec: Natacha Sénéchal was
appointed Honourary Co-Chair of Centraide’s new fundraising
campaign in Québec’s Haute-Côte-Nord Manicouagan region. The
campaign raised over $1.2 million, all of which will be distributed
among local non-prof it organizations.
—University of Calgary Scholarship program: We recently renewed
our commitment of $3,000 annually over the next f ive years to fund
the Women in Engineering Scholarship, awarded each year to female
students with f inancial constraints.

HELPING BUILD STRONG COMMUNITIES — Sustainable corporate initiatives
Our team members’ individual actions to make an impactful dif ference
are a source of tremendous pride and inspiration. They also drive
our collective desire to help our communities, their people, and their
organizations by engaging in concerted actions, volunteering, and
fundraising for worthy causes.
Last year, Englobe proudly supported various organizations, events, and
charities across Canada, helping to deliver important programming and
support services that make a real dif ference. To maximize the impact
of every dollar, we work hard to build local connections and use our
caring presence to uplift, educate, and support people in need in our
communities.
