PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
Of f ice ef f iciency and improvements
in our Toronto of f ices
In 2024, our real estate team optimized our Greater Toronto Area
operations by bringing teams together in a single, f lagship location
in a LEED Gold certif ied building. Renovations to upgrade the
of f ice space were completed by year’s end, and all area teams
were successfully relocated to that location. This initiative resulted
in a reduction in emissions equivalent to 48.5 t CO
2
in 2024, and
accounts for avoided emissions in the coming years.
The Toronto materials testing laboratory underwent signif icant
renovations in 2024 transforming the facility into a state-of-the-art,
highly functional space. Notable updates included modernizing
the laboratory and increasing its capacity, enabling team members
to serve clients with greater ef f iciency and more advanced
technologies.
Regional and employee-led initiatives
Through a combination of top-down strategy and bottom-up
engagement, we continue to strengthen our responsible practices across
Englobe. Our decentralized but coordinated approach enables us to meet
the diverse needs of our locations while staying aligned with our broader
ESG commitments.
Many of our business locations have embraced employee-led Green
Teams. These local sustainability champions identify opportunities
for improvement and implement grassroots initiatives adapted to
their specif ic environments. From community clean-ups to active
transportation programs, these ef forts exemplify our belief that
impactful change begins at the local level.

biodiversity — including the creation of an onsite garden. These
proactive ef forts also extend to community-focused actions.
This is an excellent showcase of the many ways in which local
leadership can drive meaningful change.
