Dare.Care.Change Award

The Dare.Care.Change Award recognizes an Englobe team member who dares to do things

dif ferently, who radically cares for their colleagues, clients and community, and who is a champion for

positive change.

For this award, we wanted to bestow a unique prize that aligned with our vision to build a sustainable

future. Each year, we partner with an Indigenous artist to create a custom art piece to be presented

to the Dare.Care.Change recipient, thus providing additional visibility for Indigenous artists.

In 2024, we worked with Alan Syliboy, a Mi’kmaq artist from Millbrook, Nova Scotia. The piece

he created was inspired by our values and features the whale, an important part of our natural

environment which requires our relentless and unwavering care and protection.

Inspiration-ELLE Award

The Inspiration-ELLE award recognizes a high-performing professional woman who demonstrates

excellence, is a game-changer on her team and in her community, and leads with courage,

conf idence, and integrity.

Inspiration-ELLE Award recipients are enrolled in upcoming cohorts of The A Ef fect / 100 Day

Training Program. Through a range of training sessions, mentorship opportunities and other events,

this leadership program helps exceptional businesswomen take the next step in their career.

Each Englobe Award winner receives a trophy made by Eclipse Awards, a Canadian company with

a zero waste and plastic-free philosophy: planting trees for each trophy, made from recycled solid

maple, and engraved by a solar-powered laser.

To celebrate the achievements of our Excellence Award winners and support local communities

in meaningful ways, each winner receives a $500 cash prize. Englobe also matches this prize with

a donation to a charitable organization of the winner’s choice. Charities supported in 2024 include

Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids and Camp Quality.
