Recently, Englobe sold its operations in France and the UK, as well as its Canadian soils and organic waste treatment facilities. Although these facilities have now been sold, Englobe will continue to offer professional treatment and management services for contaminated soils across Canada.

As a result of this transaction, Englobe became a pure-play engineering and environmental services firm with over 2,850 employees and more than 70 offices across Canada. From coast to coast, our team remains focused on delivering our specialized engineering, consulting, design and inspection services with the rigour and excellence our clients have come to expect from us.

Joining forces with a global leader

Earlier this year, we seized another exciting opportunity for growth. Colliers, a best-in-class Canadian professional services organization with a global brand and international platform, has recently entered into an agreement to acquire Englobe.

Building on its past success in the U.S. and Australia, Colliers seeks to enter the Canadian engineering services market, and chose Englobe as its founding platform. As we finalize this landmark transaction for Englobe, we are confident that it will accelerate our future growth while enabling us to enhance our client offering and pave the way for additional career development opportunities for our talented people.

Contributing to a sustainable future for Canada

Our commitment to building a lasting legacy remains steadfast. We will continue to be guided by our core values and the desire to have a positive impact on our communities from the ground up. By joining forces with a global leader like Colliers, we’re optimistic that Englobe will be better positioned to achieve these objectives and contribute to a sustainable future for all Canadians.

We hope our clients, partners, shareholders and other stakeholders will join us for what promises to be an exciting next chapter in Englobe’s history.
